B. 1802 Hand-Forged Cutter
In William Beekman's original mercantile, the shopkeeper would cut portions of soap or cheese for customers from large blocks sitting on the counter, and this inspired several of our Beekman 1802 products.
If you are buying one of our block-sized soaps (Honey Bar, Lump of Kohl, After-the-Garden Bar, or one of the ALL SEASONS scents) our hand-forged cutter will help preserve the life of your soap.
You can use the cutter to slice off portions of the block. Keeping the rest of the block out of the water will help your soap last longer. And who doesn't want that?!
Each cutter is hand-made by our B. 1802 blacksmith out of burnished steel.
Available in
small (5 x 3 inches) for $28
or large (8.5 x 4.5 inches) for $35 . [Larger cutters can also be used for hard and soft cheeses]
