BEEKMAN 1802 Month of May Soap
Being set on top of a hill, our spring lags behind a little later than it does for many of our neighbors. We watch with jealousy as their spring bulbs come and go, and their trees begin to give shade. We're only a week or two behind, but when it comes to the best parts of spring, a week or two is a month too many. By the time May comes around, we're thankfully mostly caught up. Every color is saturated. Every smell is new and clean.
Our Month of May soap is inspired by our excitement for what is to come. Soon we will have bushels of produce, too much lawn to mow, and more chores than daylight hours. But right now, at this instant, we have the greenest of greens that we'll have all year. And the brightest burst of flowers. Even the animals seem to sparkle.
Our Month of May soap has the scent of new leaves, May flowers, and clean fresh air. We hope you can share a little of it with us.
Like all BEEKMAN 1802 soap, our Month of May soap is handmade from the milk of the Beekman goats, who graze freely on the land and drink the waters that once made Sharon Springs one of the most famous spa destinations in the world. BEEKMAN 1802 soap uses the highest percentage of pure goat milk possible in each bar. You may notice a faint layer of ash on the bottom of the soap, which washes away with first use. This ash affirms the bar is made from pure goat milk using non-chemical methods. Because of the seasonality of our ingredients, and the different chemical-free essential oils used for fragrance, there may be slight differences in color between all soaps. Each bag of BEEKMAN 1802 Month of May soap contains two wrapped 3.25 oz bars.
