Joanna Beekman made sure that her husband's mercantile was stocked with yards and yards of beautiful hand-woven silk fabrics. She knew that a costume made of the best materials was ultimately the best value.

This tradition inspired our hand-made silk scarves. Each scarf features a tight weave of our signature Beekman Stripe pattern and is finished with a vintage honeycomb stitch. They were woven especially for Beekman 1802 on historic looms by the award-winning Thistle Hill Weavers in neighboring Cherry Valley. Thistle Hill is world renowned for their authentic vintage fabrics, and have woven costumes and set decor for such films as "John Adams," "Master and Commander" and "Road to Perdition" among others.

Our Beekman 1802 Historic Weave Silk Scarf is the type of accessory that says "you're going somewhere" while simultaneously announcing "you've arrived."

Available in 4 colors inspired by Beekman Farm and hand-dyed: Blue Stone Blue, Muck Boot Stripe Red, Tin Roof, Hayfield, and this season's two new colors:  Spring Grass and Kohl
