Joanna Beekman was the wife of a judge, a senator, and the wealthiest merchant in town.   And even though she could afford as many of the fine things she wanted, she never forgot her humble childhood, when clothing and household goods were made to last.  You may pay more for quality construction and better materials, but the result was an item you would never have to replace.

This was the thought when we designed the Beekman 1802 We’ve-Got-You-Covered Apron.

Unlike any other apron in the world, the Beekman apron is a combination of the traditional cook’s apron bib on top and a potter’s apron on the bottom to maximize functionality.

Each apron also features hemline pockets lined with Thermaflec fabric so that the bottom portions of the apron serve as hand protectors when removing items from the stove or oven or freezer.
