Goat Milk Caramel Sauce with Real Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Most people are familiar with Dulce de Leche - a caramel sauce made from cow milk. When caramel is made from goat milk, it's called Cajeta. Most caramel sauces you'll find at your local store are primarily composed of high fructose corn syrup. But we make our cajeta the traditional Latin & Mexican way...with nothing but pure goat milk and real sugar simmered for hours to develop a rich, deep, caramel flavor and color.
Our Bourbon Cajeta uses real Kentucky Straight Bourbon for an even more rich, deep & complex flavor. Excellent over cakes, ice cream, in chocolates, or cinnamon buns. Can even be used as a cheese pairing.
